Outreach

I (Shubat) am available to give talks, classes and tours.

As professor Shubat, I am well versed in Botany and Horticulture. I can come to your garden club or meeting for a fee.

As adventure junkie Shubat, I have slide shows and powerpoint talks on travels around the globe.

As consultant Shubat, I can come to your home and help you with a landscape plan, graft your apple trees, identify your perennials, identify native plants, tell jokes, sing, the list is practically endless.

As Greenhouse Director Shubat, I give tours of the UMD greenhouses to school groups, garden clubs and individuals, free plant cuttings are included. When these tours are part of the regular school day they are part of my university job and there is no charge.

I also teach classes through Community Education and Continuing Education. Here is a list of the upcoming courses.
